We are seeking a highly competent and self-motivated HGV Mechanic to join our operation on a part-time basis. Working with a mixed fleet of HGVs, 3.5t vans and cars, you will take responsibility for ensuring our vehicles remain safe, reliable and compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out PMI inspections, scheduled servicing and reactive repairs
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with accuracy and efficiency
  • Perform bodywork repairs, fibreglass repairs and touch-up painting
  • Complete small vehicle checks and repairs across the mixed fleet
  • Undertake welding tasks and tyre re-cutting where required
  • Present vehicles for MOT, ensuring all preparation is completed
  • Work independently, maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety

About You:

  • Fully competent mechanic with strong diagnostic ability
  • Confident working alone and managing your own workload
  • Experience across HGV, light commercial and car fleets
  • Able to repair, replace and resolve issues in a timely, methodical manner
  • Must hold a Class 1 (C+E) licence
  • Reliable, proactive and committed to maintaining fleet quality

Hours & Pay:

  • Part time - 3 days per week (ideal)
  • Competitive rate based on experience
