Due to business growth, Leprino are seeking a Dairy Process Operator (String/Shred) – Grade 3 for their site in Magheralin, Craigavon, Co. Armagh.
Shifts
- Week 1: Monday – Thursday 7am-7pm - 12-hour shift.
- Week 2: Monday – Wednesday 7am-7pm – 12-hour shift.
Paid an average of 42 hours per week.
Role Purpose
To safely and efficiently produce, pack and label cheese products in line with PSOPs, quality standards and daily production plans.
Salary
Starting rate of pay £18.32 per hour (inclusive of shift premium).
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all PSOPs and safe working practices.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, housekeeping and PPE compliance.
- Monitor product quality, complete tests and take corrective action when required.
- Accurately record all operational and quality data.
- Communicate effectively with QA, maintenance, team leaders and other departments.
- Support investigations, problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
- Manage waste, minimise spillages and follow environmental procedures.
- Operate string/shred equipment, complete washdowns and work across high/low care areas.
- Participate in training, cross-training and competency assessments.
- Uphold company values, food safety standards and culture commitments.

Person Specification
Essential
- A physically active role with regular lifting and carrying, therefore good physical health is important.
- Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail, quality-focused, flexible and reliable.
Desirable
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in food or dairy manufacturing.
- Knowledge of production equipment and safe working practices.
