Loughran Rock Industries are seeking a skilled and reliable Quarry Maintenance and Welder to join their operations team. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and welding tasks on quarry equipment and infrastructure to ensure continuous, safe, and efficient operation of the facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance on crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, and other quarry equipment.
  • Conduct inspections to identify wear, damage, or potential safety hazards.
  • Use welding, cutting, and fabrication techniques to repair or modify metal components and structures.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems including hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Assist with plant shutdowns, rebuilds, and installation of new equipment as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in stick and MIG welding; knowledge of fabrication techniques and use of cutting torches and grinders.
  • Familiarity with quarry or heavy equipment such as crushers, conveyors, loaders, and screens.
