McShane Packaging are now recruiting for Production Operatives to join their growing team. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who will share our passion and contribute positively to the ongoing success of the company. Dayshifts and nightshifts available. Pay: £13-£14 per hour.

As an important member of the production team, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating thermoforming machines to manufacture high quality plastic punnets safely and efficiently. This role involves operating machinery, monitoring production processes, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operate and monitor thermoforming machines to manufacture plastic punnets in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Set up and adjust machines for different production runs, ensuring high performance and minimum downtime.
  • Work closely with other team members to achieve production targets and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on the finished product to ensure they meet established specifications and customer standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of production quantities and times, equipment status, and issues encountered.
  • Pack, palletise, wrap and label trays in the appropriate manner.
