We are now on the lookout for a Junior Designer to join our Creative team working across multiple client accounts.
Responsibilities
- Follow style guides, learning them inside out and implementing them.
- Develop emerging design skills in layout, typography and image creation/manipulation (vector-based illustrations or photographic manipulation), and seek training and feedback to strengthen your skills.
- Create innovative and engaging responsive design solutions for all devices that demonstrate an understanding of the content hierarchy by adapting where required for different formats.
- Support the creation of innovative, clear and engaging UI elements as well as measurable interactivity.
- Suggest how to bring content to life with animations, by creating storyboards and demonstrating emerging skills in creating animated content.
- Suggest how a user will move through communications (within and between campaigns), whether single or multiple emails, web, push, and app using wireframes or low‑fi designs with support from senior team members if required.
- Support the creation of concepts in collaboration with others.
- Create presentation documents with a helpful order, engaging layout and useful annotations for work that is sent to clients and accompanied by clear verbal narration when in person.
- Communicate ideas using sketches or low‑fi designs, and verbal descriptions.
Key Skills and Experience
- Good experience using Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD and After Effects).
- Skills in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
- Understanding of Wrike or other project management tools is useful but not essential.
- Basic understanding of CRM basics, including channels (email, web, push, app) and principles such as affinity, loyalty and handling customer data.
