This role leads Armacell's global procurement function with full responsibility for strategy, performance, and value creation across a EUR 300–400 million annual spend in a complex, international manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and continuously develop a high-performing global procurement organization across regions and categories.
  • Define and govern the global procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with financial, strategic, and sustainability objectives.
  • Build, manage, and deliver the annual global procurement budget, including people and cost responsibilities.
  • Drive procurement performance through clear KPIs and KAIs, including savings, value creation, and commercial improvements.
  • Establish, standardize, and continuously improve global procurement processes and governance.
  • Drive digitalization initiatives in close cooperation with IT to enhance transparency and data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead strategic sourcing and category management for direct and indirect spend, balancing cost, quality, and supply security.
  • Oversee global supplier and contract management, including negotiations, risk mitigation, and performance management.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of senior procurement leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in both direct and indirect procurement categories.
  • Demonstrated experience leading global, cross-regional procurement teams.
  • Strong background in procurement processes, contract management, and complex negotiations.
  • Solid financial, analytical, and performance management capabilities.
  • Fluency in English with frequent international travel (up to 50%).
