Play a key role in standardizing and scaling Manufacturing Execution Systems across a global manufacturing footprint. This role leads the technical rollout, stabilization, and transition of GE Proficy‑based MES solutions into sustainable operations across multiple plants.
Your Tasks
- Lead end‑to‑end MES rollout activities across multiple global manufacturing plants using a standardized GE Proficy template.
- Assess plant readiness across infrastructure, automation, ERP integration, and processes, and define improvement roadmaps.
- Validate MES architecture and integrations with ERP, PLC/SCADA systems, and historians in line with ISA‑95 standards.
- Support go‑live and hypercare phases, ensuring operational stability and smooth transition to steady‑state operations.
- Lead root cause analysis and resolution of system, interface, and performance issues during rollout and stabilization.
- Define and support transition into an Application Management Services (AMS) support model, including L2/L3 structures and SLAs.
- Act as the primary technical interface for plant stakeholders through workshops, walkthroughs, and design sessions.
- Capture rollout learnings and drive continuous improvements in MES performance, OEE, and system stability.
Your Profile
- Proven hands‑on experience with GE Plant Applications, Proficy for Manufacturing Data (PfMD), and CIMPLICITY.
- Experience integrating MES solutions with SAP or other ERP systems, as well as PLC/SCADA environments.
- Solid understanding and practical application of ISA‑95 manufacturing architecture standards.
- Strong knowledge of shopfloor manufacturing operations and industrial automation systems.
- Experience with MES configuration, customization, SQL, and database handling.
- Demonstrated experience leading multi‑plant MES rollouts, including go‑live and hypercare phases.
- Ability to coordinate and align IT, OT, and plant operations stakeholders in complex delivery environments.
- Structured problem‑solving approach, including root cause analysis across MES, ERP, and automation layers.
