Due to continued growth and an expanding client portfolio, we are looking to recruit an experienced HR Consultant / Advisor to join our team based in Witham, Essex. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about people, workplace culture, and supporting businesses with practical HR solutions. The role will involve supporting a variety of clients across Essex and surrounding areas, providing both office-based and on-site HR support.
Key Responsibilities- Providing day-to-day HR advice and support to clients
- Supporting employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance management
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and colleague development processes
- Drafting and reviewing HR documentation, policies, and procedures
- Supporting clients with HR compliance and employment legislation
- Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted advisor
- Supporting wellbeing, engagement, and people development initiatives
- Conducting meetings with clients both remotely and on-site
- CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD
- Experience supporting multiple clients or within a consultancy environment
- Experience across construction, housing, or commercial sectors
- Confidence delivering HR guidance and supporting management teams
