We’re Hiring – Health & Safety Consultant / Advisor

Full-Time or Part-Time Opportunity

Due to continued growth and an expanding client portfolio, we are looking to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Consultant / Advisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking consultancy where you will play a key role in supporting clients with compliance, improving site standards, and delivering practical Health & Safety solutions across live environments. The role can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews
  • Undertaking scaffold inspections
  • Producing RAMS, risk assessments, and Health & Safety documentation
  • Providing practical Health & Safety advice to clients and site teams
  • Supporting clients with compliance against UK legislation and industry standards
  • Assisting with accident/incident investigations and reporting
  • Supporting toolbox talks, briefings, and training initiatives
  • Identifying areas for continual improvement across client operations
  • Building positive relationships with clients and operatives on site
Essential Requirements
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum)
  • Minimum 3 years’ site-based experience within construction or related sectors
  • Previous experience within a Health & Safety role
  • Good understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation
  • Experience carrying out site inspections and audits
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Desirable
  • IOSH Membership (TechIOSH or above)
  • Scaffold Inspection qualification/experience
  • Experience within housing, construction, or facilities management sectors
  • Experience producing RAMS and compliance documentation
  • Additional Health & Safety qualifications or training experience
