Entry-level Graduate / Junior Accounts / Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable role involving purchase ledger / accounts payable and reconciliations for one of London's most prestigious Property Investment businesses. This Accounts Assistant role will involve:
- Processing purchase ledger invoices, dealing with queries
- Supplier statement reconciliations and bank reconciliations
- Run the payment process for purchase invoices by BACs and other
- Send out remittance advice and set up new supplier accounts
- Investigating variances on the creditor/supplier ledger
- Recharging central costs across the group
- Ad-hoc accounts support to the finance team
The new Accounts Assistant will learn from qualified and part qualified Accountants in the team, working closely with the Group Financial Controller and the Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Manager. Study support for ACCA or AAT can be provided after a qualifying period. Progression to a Senior Accounts role is available in 1-2 years. Excellent Excel skills are required together with a strong aptitude for numbers and accounts. Based in Central London.
