North London - This small but highly successful family-run business in North London is seeking a sole-charge hands-on Finance Manager / Company Accountant. Reporting to the MD / Owner, the Finance Manager / Company Accountant role will be responsible for all day to day and monthly accounting including:
- Daily bookkeeping on Sage Line 50
- Processing purchase ledger invoices
- Bank reconciliations and cash flow management
- Raising sales ledger invoices, credit control, monitoring aged debtors
- Supplier statement reconciliations and payments runs
- Month-end procedures and reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
- Processing monthly management accounts
- Inter-company reconciliations
- VAT and CIS returns
- Year-end preparation for external accountants
- Ad hoc responsibilities for the MD / Owner
