Part Time Finance Director /Financial Controller / Finance & Operations Manager - this International Educational Charity and Membership Organisation seeks a No 1 in Finance (Finance Director / Finance & Operations Manager / Financial Controller. The organisation has a small team of staff with revenues cΒ£2m.

The role is part time (3-4 days) and hybrid (one day in London office). The Finance Director / Finance & Operations Manager / Financial Controller role reports to the Board and will oversee everything in Finance including:

    • Overseebookkeepinganddaytodayaccounting(twoparttimebookkeepers)
    • Overseerecording/reportingofmembershiprevenueandcharity/donations/eventsrevenue.
    • Preparationofmonthlymanagementaccountsandmulticurrencybudgets
    • Preparationofannualaccounts,liaisingwithexternalauditorsandadvisers
    • Ensurerelevantfinancialpoliciesandcontrolsareinplaceandmeetregulatoryrequirements
    • Overseelegalandgovernanceissues,CompaniesHouseandCharityCommissionreporting
    • Monitoroverseassubsidiariesandlocalbookkeepersintherelevantcountries
    • MonitorHRpoliciesincludingcontractsofemployment,jobspecsetc
    • Liaisewithstakeholdersandinternationalprofessionalnetworkofmembers.

The new Finance Director / Finance & Operations Manager / Financial Controller will have relevant experience in the not-for-profit / charity sector, together with a relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ACMA). The new candidate will have the capability to help shape future plans and also be committed to the values of an international educational charity.
