This £4m boutique Political Consultancy in London provides advice to Senior Management in the Political, Defence, Media and Education sectors. Projects are of multi-million pound value and can be conducted over several years. The company is seeking to appoint a full-time Group Finance Director, a role created due to its recent growth and to aid the implementation of its development plans.
Reporting to the CEO, the Group Finance Director role is both hands-on and strategic and will include:
- Hands-on responsibility for the day-to-day finance function
- Maintain complex intercompany and group issues
- Manage cash flow and various funding streams
- Implement and shape effective financial governance
- Support the CEO with decision making within a complex operating model
- Provide management information and project analysis
- Manage statutory, tax and regulatory requirements, liaising with advisors
- Support relationships with key external stakeholders and funders
- Oversee ad hoc issues such as insurance and IT
