Trainee Purchasing Assistant, West Hull, £24,750 + bonus + other benefits Arlington Moore is working on behalf of a successful company who have an exciting opportunity to train as a Buyer. The role will see you gain exposure to the full supply chain with mentoring and training to achieve CIPS professional qualification. Working within the supply chain team the Trainee Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for; * Order Administration – Placing & management of purchase orders, non-conformances and keeping electronic records to ensure the smooth running of the supply chain department. * Supplier Liaison – Expediting orders, chasing late deliveries and order acknowledgements. * Supplier Analysis – Providing analysis of data to include delivery, quality, forecasts and tendering exercises. * Supply Chain Support – providing support for the wider supply chain team to include initial part set-up What qualities would benefit this purchasing position: This is a development role so previous experience in a purchasing role is not essential but would be beneficial.
