Electrical Maintenance Engineer, salary £53245 (this is inclusive of shift allowance), day/night shifts Our client is a well-established, successful manufacturing company, commutable from Doncaster, York, Wakefield, Leeds, Scunthorpe, West Hull, Goole, and Selby to name a few. The role of Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be to oversee production shifts, ensuring operational efficiency and providing immediate assistance for breakdowns. The responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer include conducting both reactive and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, monitoring plant performance to pre-empt failures, collaboration with supervisors, contributing to improvement initiatives, and participating in projects. Additionally, the position requires electrical support during shutdowns. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer: * Time served or suitably recognised qualifications in production or electrical engineering * Demonstrable experience in both reactive and preventative electrical maintenance * Computer literacy * Basic programming knowledge for PLC fault finding * Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate risks This is a fantastic opportunity for a Shift Maintenance Engineer, Multiskilled Engineer or Electrical engineer, therefore early application is advised.
