To take advantage of increased opportunity we want to appoint a Head of Pre-Contracts.
We are looking to add a Head of Pre-Contracts to lead the Pre-Contracts Team. Experienced within Commercial Office Design & Build, you will have experience of leading a Pre-Contracts Team, excellent communications skills at all levels and with the organisational skills to ensure all proposals are competitive and achieve profitability targets.
Role Requirements: Candidates for this role need to have all the following attributes:
- Degree or HNC/HND educated
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in estimating, preferably in commercial D&B fit-out
- Experience in leading, managing and developing a team
- Have highly competent numerical skills
- Be highly competent in Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Office software programmes
- Able to read CAD drawings as a basis for developing accurate cost/estimation documents
- Have an established and good track record of yielding high profits in D&B projects
- Highly motivated individual with excellent communication & presentation skills
- Well organized with good time management
- Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical disciplines
- A good knowledge of JCT contracts & current building regulations
- A good knowledge of health and safety within the industry
- Strong client negotiation/presentation skills
- Excellent financial management experience
- First class internal management, communication and prioritisation skills
- Driving licence is essential
