Part of a senior three-person executive board and pitch team responsible for managing a business unit of c£20+m and a team comprising designers, technicians, visualizers, estimators and PMs.
The Role
- Senior Pitch executive managing all aspects of technical evaluation, costings, financial negotiation and contract agreements in close liaison with the Project Director and Design Director.
Key responsibilities:
- All pricing, cost evaluations, analysis and management of suppliers and materials.
- Optimisation of profitability.
- Ensuring design feasibility relates to budget parameters.
- Managing and negotiating all subcontractor and product supplier costs and contracts.
- Ensure all contracts are detailed, accurate and absolutely in order.
- The commercial and financial lead of the senior pitch team.
- Managing client technical expectations in layman’s language.
- Delivering clear and concise technical information in terms a client understands and instils total confidence and trust.
Candidate
- Smart, commercial and client-facing.
- A financially astute, highly experienced, senior Fit Out manager.
- A Commercial/Pre contract/Estimating Manager/Director or equivalent.
Key Qualities:
- Providing a confident and consultative appearance and approach.
- Excellent overall financial management experience of fit out projects.
- Knowledge of and contacts with subcontract labour and materials suppliers.
- Excellent attention to detail regarding terms from suppliers and final contract.
- Experience of a similar role within the commercial fit out sector.
- Genuine team player, able to work accurately under pressure.
- Well-developed leadership, management, communication and prioritisation skills.
