We are actively seeking an energetic, assertive, and experienced Assistant Showroom Manager to join our growing team!
Role and Responsibilities
As an Assistant Showroom Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the showroom management team in ensuring the smooth operations of the dynamic and ever‐changing showroom environment. Working closely with the Showroom Manager and collaborating with Account Managers, your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the success of each sale event. Your usual days of work should be Wednesday to Saturday; however, this may differ depending on business needs.
Team Management
- Assist in coordinating and supporting a diverse team of permanent and temporary staff, ensuring they understand Arlettie's procedures and processes.
- Contribute to team training initiatives, promoting a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Support the management team in resource allocation and daily operational tasks.
- Assist in monitoring team performance and providing feedback for continuous improvement.
- Train and develop the team to ensure the highest levels of customer experience within the showroom.
Operations Management
- Assist in managing stock deliveries, inventory management, and stock returns, ensuring efficient processing and accurate documentation.
- Support in the preparation and maintenance of product zoning/merchandising, helping to create visually appealing displays that enhance the customer experience.
- Collaborate in product pricing and tagging processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the showroom.
- Assist in managing customer access, queues, and sales transactions, providing exceptional customer service.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organised showroom environment, reflecting the luxury standards of our brand partners.
- Support health and safety measures, risk management, and loss prevention protocols.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an assistant manager in a fast‐paced retail environment.
