This role offers a unique opportunity to travel internationally throughout the year. You will support approximately 7 international sales per year, with each project lasting up to three weeks. When not travelling, you will assist with sales activities in your local showroom.
Role and Responsibilities
- As an Assistant Showroom Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the showroom management team in ensuring the smooth operations of the dynamic and ever‑changing showroom environment.
- Working closely with the Showroom Manager and collaborating with the Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the success of each sale event.
Team Management
- Support the management of a diverse team of temporary staff across multiple international locations, ensuring a clear understanding of Arlettie’s procedures and ways of working.
- Assist with resource allocation and the coordination of daily operational activities.
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Train and develop team members to deliver the highest standards of customer service and showroom experience.
Operations Management
- Assist in managing stock deliveries, inventory management, and stock returns, ensuring efficient processing and accurate documentation.
- Support in the preparation and maintenance of product zoning/merchandising, helping to create visually appealing displays that enhance the customer experience.
- Collaborate in product pricing and tagging processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the showroom.
- Assist in managing customer access, queues and providing exceptional customer service.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organised showroom environment, reflecting the luxury standards of our brand partner.
- Support health and safety measures, risk management, and loss prevention protocols.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an assistant manager in a fast‑paced retail environment.
