Arla Foods Stourton Dairy are looking for proficient Production Operative to join our team on a full time and permanent basis where you will play an integral part in the production of our fantastic dairy products.

As a Production Operative you will be working a full time, 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (2 days and 2 nights) and will have responsibility for the daily operation of container filling and labelling machinery, producing a range of our top quality dairy products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • The daily operation of container filling/labelling machinery safely and efficiently to produce top quality products.
  • Reporting and correcting any safety issues whilst maintaining proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings.
  • Performing quality inspections on materials and finished product which will include codes, seals and weights.
  • Proper and accurate product/package/code changes.
  • Performing all filling/labelling operator CIP duties and surface foaming with mechanical cleaning for all other areas in accordance with specified cleaning schedules.
  • Performing simple preventative maintenance, i.e. clean, inspect, lubricate and tighten and monitor equipment and process performance and correct/raise issues before they become a problem.

Who are you?

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an FMCG or related company. We are looking for a good communicator with ability to understand instructions. NVQ level 2 or equivalent is desirable to demonstrate basic level of vocational learning ability. Experience of SAP process order management and automated data collection systems i.e. SCADA, OEE, SPC.
