Arla Foods are looking to recruit a proactive and thorough Production Operative to join our team at our Westbury Dairy on a part time basis. Our Westbury site is the largest butter and powder facility in the UK as well as being the home of Anchor butter! You will be working in a fully-automated facility where your safety is the number one priority. Arla has a culture of rewarding talent by promoting internally.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you will be operating high speed processing and packing equipment.
- You will be responsible for safety, quality and efficiency on your production line.
- You will receive full training to carry out the tasks.
- This role will be working on a part time basis where you will work night shifts including some weekends.
- You will be working 7, 12 hour night shifts in a 5 week period, averaging 21 hours per week.
- We are looking for someone who is able to work on your own initiative, have strong team working skills and a flexible attitude to work.
- We need people who can demonstrate good levels of numeracy and literacy and have a sound technical understanding.
