Daily operation of container filling/labelling machinery safely and efficiently to produce top quality products.
Report and/or correct safety issues. Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings.
Perform quality inspections on materials and finished product. Quality checks to include, codes, seals and weights.
Responsible for proper and accurate product/package/code changes.
Perform all filling/labelling operator CIP duties and surface foaming with mechanical cleaning for all other areas in accordance with specified cleaning schedules.
Perform simple preventative maintenance, i.e. clean, inspect, lubricate and tighten.
Monitor equipment and process performance and correct/raise issues before they become problems.
What you’ll need to be successful in the role:
- Good communicator with ability to understand instructions.
- Previous experience in an FMCG or related company.
- Food hygiene certificate.
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent is desirable to demonstrate basic level of vocational learning ability.
- Experience of SAP process order management and automated data collection systems i.e. SCADA, OEE, SPC.
