As Finance Analyst in Commercial Finance, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial insight and supporting business leaders across Commercial and the wider organisation.
This is a parental leave cover until end of 2027.
Anchored in the marketing team, with a strong link into the finance function, this role gives you the opportunity to support exciting innovation in our branded portfolio, build business cases from concept to launch and act as a trusted finance partner to help drive informed decision-making.
How you will make an impact
In this role, you will support key financial processes across innovation, marketing investment and commercial performance.
You will bring financial rigour to decision-making, help ensure accurate forecasting and reporting, and work closely with stakeholders to turn insight into action.
The role sits within the Marketing team and has a strong link into the Finance function, supporting both Commercial and wider business stakeholders.
- Drive branded innovation by providing inputs and consultancy for Innovation and Sustainability Business Cases, including scenarios, simulations and financial rigour.
- Track innovation performance through post-launch reviews and updates on consolidated business performance against innovation targets.
- Oversee reporting requirements in accordance with royalty agreements, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant data submissions.
- Ensure effective governance of the marketing budget and spend controlling, partnering with stakeholders to track marketing investments accurately.
- Act as a trusted finance partner to the Marketing team, providing proactive financial guidance and constructive challenge to improve performance.
- What will make you successful
To succeed in this role, you bring solid financial acumen, strong analytical skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders across multiple functions.
You are recently or nearly qualified in a finance qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA, or you have equivalent competency gained through relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical capability and a passion for turning financial data into useful insights.
- Confidence to partner with stakeholders, challenge constructively and communicate clearly.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and core financial processes, gained through previous placements or relevant experience.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to work with autonomy while knowing when to seek support.
- An interest in marketing, brands and commercial performance, alongside a desire to continue developing your finance career.
