You’ll translate our cooperative’s sustainability credentials into customer value; deepening relationships, commercialising sustainability and lifting capability across our sales organisation.
How You Will Make an Impact
As the UK lead of Arla’s FarmAhead™ Customer Partnership, you will project manage local delivery of the customer facing commercial value proposition, drive customer-facing sustainability engagement and build long-term strategic plans with key customers. In parallel, you’ll champion the internal change agenda to grow a sustainability mindset across the organisation through communications, training and coaching.
- Build lasting relationships with customer sustainability leads; co-create long-term plans aligned to customer needs and Arla’s priorities
- Drive the sales agenda to commercialise sustainability, identifying must‑win battles, and developing and delivering value propositions
- Embed sustainability into sales and customer engagement processes and toolkits
- Train and coach sales teams to build capability and confidence in sustainability conversations
- Lead internal comms and training to engage colleagues, encourage local improvements and recognise contributions to sustainability goals
This role partners closely with Sales, Agriculture, and UK and Global Sustainability teams to align strategy and execution.
What Will Make You Successful
You will be customer‑oriented with experience engaging large retailers. You will also bring a strong sustainability background with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and turn them into compelling, value-add commercial propositions. You will collaborate effectively across functions to build insights and shape strategy, embed sustainability into sales ways of working, and coach teams to raise capability. You will be a credible change agent; relationship‑led, influential and empathetic, who inspires action, builds shared plans and accelerates adoption across internal and external stakeholders.
