As a Box packer operative, you will be part of a high-performance team both delivering and supporting other functions to meet challenging department, team and personal goals in APS pilot area on site. The role will be to support a team, optimize resources and coordinate activities to ensure the targets are met which in turn contributes to ensuring site goals are achieved. Your mission? Deliver top-quality products with perfect packaging and temperature, ready to delight our customers!
Responsibilities:
- Work to high standards to achieve departmental targets in Quality, Efficiency, Waste and cost reduction.
- Actively contribute and seek continuous improvements to achieve departmental targets.
- Resolve minor breakdowns and carry out basic maintenance.
- Monitor equipment performance and correct / raise issues before they become problems.
- Maintain strict food hygiene and health and safety standards.
- Ensure full completion of daily targets, Drive daily KPIs.
- Ensure departmental procedures are followed and records are maintained.
- Contribute to the team reporting and decision-making process.
- Ensure quality, hygiene, health and safety standards are met and regular audits are conducted.
- Actively promote communication links and good working relationships with colleagues.
- Maintain high standards of work ethics in respect to lateness and absences.
- Plan production effectively to optimise resources and output.
- To carry out any other duties commensurate with the role.
- Fully integrate and deliver daily asset care to all equipment.
