Overview
Join to apply for the Production Operative – Settle Creamery role at Arla Foods.
Location: Settle, GB. You will work a rotating continental 12-hour shift pattern covering both days and nights. The shift pattern is over 4 weeks and includes 8 consecutive days off.
Responsibilities
- Running of our production lines safely and efficiently to produce top quality products
- Performing quality inspections on materials and finished product
- Quality checks to include codes, sealing and weights
- Filling of trays, glues and caps
- Reporting safety issues to maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings
- Perform specified cleaning tasks as per our daily/monthly schedules
What you’ll need to be successful
- Previous experience working within a similar environment would be beneficial but not essential
- Previous experience with food safety regulations and practices would be beneficial but not essential
- All training and support will be provided during your induction period
- A motivated team player, who can work on their own initiative
- You’re as serious about quality as we are – and ready to work hard to achieve it
- A good attendance record and a willingness to learn further skills
