What’s the role ?

Health, Safety & Quality

  • Ensures a health and safety mindset, and safe working environment.
  • Contributes positively to a healthy and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily operation of container filling/labelling machinery safely and efficiently to produce top quality products.
  • Report and/or correct safety issues. Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings.
  • Perform quality inspections on materials and finished product. Quality checks to include, codes, seals and weights.
  • Responsible for proper and accurate product/package/code changes.
  • Perform all filling/labelling operator CIP duties and surface foaming with mechanical cleaning for all other areas in accordance with specified cleaning schedules.
  • Perform simple preventative maintenance, i.e clean, inspect, lubricate and tighten.
  • Monitor equipment and process performance and correct /raise issues before they become problem.

Attributes/Experience

  • Good communicator with ability to understand instructions
  • Previous experience in an FMCG or related company.
  • Food hygiene certificate.
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent is desirable to demonstrate basic level of vocational learning ability.
  • Experience of SAP process order management and automated data collection systems i.e SCADA, OEE, SPC.
