Job Overview
We’re one of the world’s biggest dairy producers. Join our Bulk Farm Driver team at our Burton Upon Trent transport hub as a Class 1 HGV Bulk Farm Collection Driver. You will collect raw milk from our Farmer Owners and help take it from cow to cup, contributing to making food that is loved by millions.
Working Pattern
- 4 on 2 off rolling rota
- Minimum 10.5 hours per shift, Guaranteed 42 hours per week
- Rest day working premium payment £46.90
- 24 days holiday + 8 bank holidays per year
- Night shift – start times from 1300 onwards
Salary
- Mon – Fri Day shift rate: £17.98
- Mon – Fri Night shift rate: £19.50
- Saturday Day shift rate: £20.32
- Saturday Night shift rate: £22.49
- Sunday Day shift rate: £21.04
- Sunday Night shift rate: £23.33
- Bank holiday Day shift rate: £22.86
- Bank holiday Night shift rate: £25.17
Responsibilities
- Collect raw milk from our farmer owners.
- Transport milk to our manufacturing sites while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Read all signage and communicate effectively with team members and farm owners.
- Promote Arla’s culture and values daily and support training and business development activities.
- Challenge and improve ways of working to support our farmer owners and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Class 1 HGV licence.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and health & safety rules.
- Strong focus on quality and readiness to work hard to achieve it.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
