About The Role
In this key leadership position, you’ll ensure production equipment and systems operate at peak efficiency, drive continuous improvement, and support our strong culture of safety, sustainability, and quality.
You will lead a team of professionals and specialists, and may also supervise frontline employees, ensuring policies, standards, and procedures are consistently applied across your area of responsibility.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure maximum availability and optimal efficiency of production equipment and systems
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities, contribute to the CAPEX process, and manage projects
- Lead and develop your team, driving engagement and supporting professional growth in line with AFI’s Good Leadership and Good Values
- Promote safe working conditions and a culture of food safety, LEAN practices, and quality excellence
- Ensure compliance with Arla Foods Ingredients’ policies, standards, legislation, and Health & Safety procedures
- Act as a role model for digital transformation, encouraging data‑driven decision‑making and a digital mindset
- Champion sustainability initiatives, inspiring responsible and efficient practices
- Drive and execute the local business plan, ensuring alignment with site strategic goals
- Analyse performance data to identify and implement improvement opportunities
- Oversee and control the area budget to ensure efficient resource use
- Support APS transformation through process confirmation and best‑practice sharing
What You Bring
- Strong technical background and leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect at all levels
- A true team player who thrives in a fast‑paced environment
- High degree of autonomy, motivation, and energy to make things happen
- Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure
- Solid understanding of industrial systems and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in SAP, LIA, VIW, ARIBA, or similar systems
- Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills
- Commitment to quality, food safety, and environmental standards
