Operations Technician – Process Technician (Settle, GB)

Location – Settle, GB

Key Responsibilities

• Operate liquid processing equipment and interfaces, run department processes, and resolve process failures.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools, implement ONECI with measurable savings, and identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Follow departmental KPIs, minimise losses, manage nonconforming products, and determine pass/fail criteria.
• Ensure compliance with quality and food safety requirements (incl. HACCP) and manage product recipes, article numbers, and additives.
• Train Process Technicians on Plant Master, organise projects, and implement changes independently, reporting to the Team Leader/SLT.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG/manufacturing with strong problem‑solving capability and technical acumen.
• Proficiency in Plant Master and excellent IT skills.
• Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and apply lean/CI methods to deliver results.
• Strong safety mindset with knowledge of food safety procedures (e.g., HACCP).
• Proactive problem solver who addresses root causes and drives practical solutions.
• Quality‑focused and integrity‑driven with a commitment to doing things right, safely and consistently.
• Time‑savvy organiser who prioritises effectively and leads tasks to completion.
