How will you make an impact?

As a Senior Procurement Category Buyer, you’ll collaborate with global procurement colleagues, suppliers, and key stakeholders to develop effective category strategies and roadmaps, while aligning on sourcing responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include;

· Manages sourcing and supply management activities across designated categories, driving cost efficiency, value creation, and risk mitigation.

· Deliver best-in-class procurement services by engaging with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.

· Applies sourcing knowledge and skills when managing sourcing projects (identifying, negotiating, evaluating, and selecting suppliers) and when entering agreements on behalf of Arla Foods.

· Tracks and evaluates internal and external performance metrics for assigned categories, ensuring accountability through regular performance reporting.

· Applies Procurement’s processes and tools in the sourcing process to implement supplier agreements effectively. Builds strong relationships with end users and suppliers by understanding their key business drivers.

· Operates within defined sourcing categories and actively engages with other sourcing communities to share knowledge and strengthen cohesion.

What will make you successful?

· Demonstrated experience in purchasing/procurement roles, ideally within a complex or fast-paced environment.

· Strong knowledge of procurement principles, sourcing strategies, and supplier management.

· Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems

· Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation.

· Good understanding of the complexity of driving projects across various categories, gained through working in procurement or another relevant field- preferably within the food industry or similar sectors.

**Previous experience within packaging sourcing is a strong advantage.**
