Arla Foods Oswestry are looking for a proficient CI Technician to join the team on a permanent basis. As a CI Technician, you will play an integral part in the efficient running of the packing lines in our Production area within a Cheese packaging site. You will be responsible for delivering operational standards within your area, responsible for reduction of unplanned downtime and increased line efficiency through systematic CI work.
The Area Technician will also enable and coach Operators on technical standards, ensuring products such as Castello, BOB and Arla Pro are packaged in a timely manner so they can be distributed to all major UK retailers including Waitrose, M&S, Asda and Aldi.
How will you make an impact?
- Ensures that their department complies with Arla's standards in terms of Food Safety, H&S, Environment and carries out internal process confirmation to ensure compliance.
- Leads weekly CI meetings related to unplanned stops and top losses applying structured LEAN problem solving tools and PDCA.
- Actively works with the teams on CI improvement activities.
- Ensures improvement activities are quantified and reflected in improvement benefits trackers.
