We are looking for a dedicated PPM Technician at Arla Foods Stourton Dairy process department to conduct routine inspections and maintenance on assets. This role involves following planned maintenance schedules, taking ownership of problem-solving, and collaborating to upskill operations and technicians. You will play a key role in supporting asset reliability through maintenance plan development and optimisation.
How will you add value:
- Execute planned maintenance activities to improve maintenance execution on site to prevent failures, source necessary spare parts, and update the engineering plan.
- Utilise SAP CMMS and FastWork to record all maintenance activities and contribute to top loss review and action closure.
- Ensure OEE is realised through data analysis and effective CI work to reduce unplanned stops, leading RCA with site teams, maintaining technical standards including SOPs, SMPs and work instructions and support knowledge sharing and skill development across operations and engineering.
- Serve as an ambassador for safety and food quality, adhering and championing LOTO, Permit to Work, and other protocols.
- Provide technical input to CAPEX projects.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ideally you will have completed a Modern Advanced Level Apprenticeship to Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance or equivalent.
- Proven experience in technical and/or maintenance engineering position within a fast paced production environment.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools like CBM, RCA, FMECA, and CMMS (SAP PM) is desirable.
