Arla Foods are looking to recruit a proactive and thorough Hygiene Operative/Cleaner to join our Hygiene team at our flagship Aylesbury Dairy site. You will contribute to maintaining the high hygiene standards across non-operational areas. This is a full-time and permanent position which will consist of a 7-week shift rota that will include days, evenings, and weekends.

Our Aylesbury site is the largest fresh milk site in Europe where we produce for most of the UK retailers under their own brand. The site is the same size footprint as 30 Wembley Stadiums!

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all cleaning procedures in all non-operational areas which include meeting rooms, corridors, changing rooms, toilets, offices, and canteen areas.
  • Monitor equipment performance and correct/raise issues before they become problems.
  • Maintain strict food hygiene and health and safety standards.
  • Ensure full completion of daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning targets.
  • Work independently and challenge different areas of the business.
  • Maintain all cleaning equipment, record confirmation of tasks completed, and ensure enough stock for your area/s.

What you’ll need to be successful in the role

  • Previous cleaning experience would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Good communicator with the ability to understand instructions.
  • Reliable, hardworking with a professional attitude.
  • Good attention to detail.
