- Do you want to be part of one of the UK’s largest farming cooperatives, collaborating with both farmers and major retail and food service customers to improve the sustainability of dairy?
This is an exciting opportunity to join Arla’s UK Agriculture team on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. In this role, you’ll work directly with our farmer owners to support and accelerate sustainability progress on farms across the UK.

How will you make an impact?
As a Sustainability & Agriculture Professional, you’ll play a key role in supporting our farmer owners to increase their sustainability incentive points and in delivering impactful farmer networking and learning events across the UK.
Key responsibilities include;
- Building strong relationships with the wider Agriculture team to understand business needs business and develop shared long-term plans.
- Managing day-to-day farmer enquiries, logging cases, problem-solving, and identifying solutions that help farmers meet sustainability requirements and drive progress on farm.
- Be the main point of contact for farmer owners on sustainability matters.
- Drive the FarmAhead Check agenda forward to support our emission reduction targets.
- Support the planning, organising, and delivering of sustainability-focused farmer events (e.g. networking or knowledge building events).
- Supporting sustainability projects and contributing to the wider agriculture team on team development, meetings, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Understanding Arla’s global business and building connections across our key markets such as Denmark, Sweden, and Central Europe.
What will make you successful?
- Experience working closely with farmers in an agricultural role (desirable).
- Passion for sustainable agriculture, with relevant training or qualifications in agriculture or sustainability (desirable).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and support others in delivering outcomes.
