As a Production Operative at our flagship Aylesbury Dairy you will play an integral part in the production of our fantastic dairy products. Our Aylesbury site is the largest fresh milk site in Europe where we produce for most of the UK retailers under their own brand. The site is same size footprint as 30 Wembley Stadiums!
We are looking for somebody to join the team on a full time, permanent basis, covering both days and night 12 hour shifts you will monitor the running of our production lines ensuring key targets are achieved.
About the job
- Full time, 12 hour shifts which will include both day and nights over a 5 week shift pattern
- Daily operation of container filling/labelling machinery safely and efficiently to produce top quality products
- Report and/or correct safety issues. Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings
- Perform quality inspections on materials and finished product. Quality checks to include, codes, seals and weights
- Responsible for proper and accurate product/package/code changes
- Perform all filling/labelling operator CIP duties and surface foaming with mechanical cleaning for all other areas in accordance with specified cleaning schedules
- Perform simple preventative maintenance, i.e. clean, inspect, lubricate and tighten
- Monitor equipment and process performance and correct /raise issues before they become problem
What you’ll need to be successful in the role
- Good communicator with ability to understand instructions

- Quality awareness
- Strong Performer with good attendance and Time keeping record, who is willing to learn further skills
- Previous experience in an FMCG or related company
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent is desirable to demonstrate basic level of vocational learning ability.
