Please note that due to the site closure estimated for the second half of 2027, we are offering an enhanced reward and support package to support our colleagues. This includes a pro-rata retention payment (25% of the average annual salary) and a redundancy payment based on length of service (no 2-year minimum service needed). We are also offering relocation support for colleagues staying with Arla following the site closure, as well as out-of-service support for those who choose not to stay.

How will you make an impact?

Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, you will manage the production and warehouse at Settle Creamery, overseeing 14 direct reports and up to 25 colleagues indirectly on shift.

Other duties include:

  • Delivering operational plans and setting daily team objectives, or acting independently to implement business policies and programs within the production department.
  • Ensuring a healthy, inclusive, and safe working environment with a safety-first mindset.
  • Maintaining quality and food safety within your area of responsibility.
  • Leading and managing production teams with an LCO mindset to improve performance using LEAN tools, APS, SPC, OEE, and being accountable for continuous improvements within the department.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Experience in production management within food and beverage manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
  • Knowledge of Lean tools and techniques.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills for workloads.
  • Cost awareness and performance focus.
