• Our Taw Valley Creamery have been producing their award-winning cheeses since 1974.
• Arla Foods “Site of the year” 2021
• Our Taw Valley produces thousands of KG of some of the UKs favourite cheeses including Cheddar, Red Leicester and Double Gloucester cheeses

Key Responsibilities of Role:

As part of the site maintenance team, reporting to the Site Services Team Leader, your key responsibilities will be to achieve high levels for maintenance, CI and area standards.

• Conducts corrective maintenance of building fabric.
• H&S adhered to and improved Across site.
• Area standards up to audit level.
• Challenges current processes and practices to identify new opportunities.
• Utilizes current data systems and reporting suites
• Carries out equipment and plant condition appraisals.
• Completes root cause analysis with relevant site teams.

Specific tasks of the Role:

• Providing cover within maintenance sub departments, this to Include running of EFF belt press.
• Leader of behavioural safety.
• Completes and updates plant maintenance records complying with all departmental procedures.
• Assist in requirements for Engineering Fork Lift tasks

Qualifications / Experience Required for the Role:

• Skilled in buildings maintenance.
• Background of maintaining equipment within a services/utilities environment
• Excel and SAP experience an advantage
• Has to be able to demonstrate competencies in the area of:
• LEAN activities
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Excellent hands on skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
