Job Summary
Porter (luggage)
Primary Location - Stansted Airport
Contract Hours - Full Time / Part Time (split/shifts)
Industry Sector - Airport Ground Handling
Pay Rate - £12.21
Shifts - Early/Late
Experience: Preferred
Travel: Travel between each terminal will be required
Main Porter’s Duties & Responsibilities:
- Meet party on departure forecourt and escort luggage to the check-in desk
- On return journey, meet the party by the carousel and take luggage to a point of transport or a waiting relative.
Required Characteristics:
- Good Positive Attitude
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
- Excellent customer service skills
- A current and valid ID/passport/Visa
- Proof of NI Number (NI Card, P45 or P60)
- A 5-year checkable employment/education history
- No unspent criminal convictions
Qualifications:
- General Security Awareness Training Required (GSAT)
- Manual Handling Training
- CRC
