Ashendon Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a growing and well-respected care provider for an experienced Care Co-ordinator to join their team in Stafford.

We are seeking an organised, compassionate and proactive individual who can coordinate care and support services, manage staffing requirements and ensure the highest standards of care delivery are maintained.
The Opportunity
As Care Co-ordinator, you will play a central role in the day-to-day operation of the service, ensuring care and support packages are delivered safely, effectively and in line with individual needs.
Working closely with management, support staff, families and external professionals, you will help ensure continuity of care, compliance with regulatory requirements and excellent outcomes for those receiving support.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and maintaining staff rotas and schedules
- Coordinating care and support services across multiple settings
- Responding to staffing shortages, sickness and emergency cover requirements
- Supporting assessments, care plans, support plans and risk assessments
- Conducting spot checks and monitoring service quality
- Supporting staff induction, supervision and ongoing development
- Liaising with families, social workers, healthcare professionals and commissioners
- Ensuring safeguarding concerns, incidents and complaints are managed appropriately
- Assisting management in maintaining compliance with CQC and Ofsted standards
- Participating in an on-call rota to support operational requirements
About You
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- Previous experience within supported living, domiciliary care, residential care or supported accommodation services
- Experience coordinating care services or working in a senior support or team leader capacity
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills and experience using electronic care management or rostering systems
- A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent, or be working towards one
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of CQC regulatory standards
- Experience supporting young people aged 16 to 18
- Understanding of Ofsted supported accommodation requirements
- Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism or complex needs
- Previous involvement in quality assurance, audits or inspections
