Working Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.00pm. Flexibility is required to meet studio and shoot requirements.

Overview: We are recruiting a Studio Assistant to support a busy photography studio specialising in homewares photography. This is a long term temporary role, ideal for someone at a junior level who is keen to gain practical experience within a professional studio environment. There is potential for the role to lead to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support photographers, stylists and studio managers during daily shoots
  • Assist with setting up, maintaining and clearing photography sets
  • Ensure products, props and sets are prepared and shoot ready
  • Liaise with warehouse teams regarding stock movement and deliveries
  • Assist stylists and set builders with basic set preparation and construction
  • Handle homewares products carefully, including unpacking and repacking
  • Maintain studio cleanliness, organisation and health and safety standards
  • Support studio resets between shoots

Skills and Attributes:

  • Interest in photography, styling or studio based work
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Physically able to carry out manual handling tasks

Experience:

  • Previous studio, warehouse or creative experience is helpful but not essential
  • Full training will be provided
