Overview: We are recruiting a Studio Assistant to support a busy photography studio specialising in homewares photography. This is a long term temporary role, ideal for someone at a junior level who is keen to gain practical experience within a professional studio environment. There is potential for the role to lead to permanent employment for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support photographers, stylists and studio managers during daily shoots
- Assist with setting up, maintaining and clearing photography sets
- Ensure products, props and sets are prepared and shoot ready
- Liaise with warehouse teams regarding stock movement and deliveries
- Assist stylists and set builders with basic set preparation and construction
- Handle homewares products carefully, including unpacking and repacking
- Maintain studio cleanliness, organisation and health and safety standards
- Support studio resets between shoots
Skills and Attributes:
- Interest in photography, styling or studio based work
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Physically able to carry out manual handling tasks
Experience:
- Previous studio, warehouse or creative experience is helpful but not essential
- Full training will be provided
