Labourer - Fitters Mate

Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Labourers. This role is essential in supporting various projects and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. As a Labourer, you will be involved in a variety of physical tasks that contribute to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
• Perform general site maintenance and cleanliness to ensure a safe working environment.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and assist skilled tradespeople as required.
• Operate basic hand tools and machinery, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Participate in lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items as necessary.
• Support the team in completing projects on time by maintaining a steady workflow.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• A valid driver\’s licence is preferred but not mandatory.
• Timekeeping Skills Are Imperative

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
