Full time
An initial hourly rate of £13.45 (Real Living Wage) increases to £13.75 after successful completion of the probation period. The role includes a clear, guaranteed pay progression that reflects commitment, skill and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Support vulnerable people as part of an efficient team within a community setting.
- Communicate and work well with supported individuals to provide personalized care and maintain appropriate relationships.
- Assist individuals throughout activities, offering positive feedback and encouragement.
- Update and maintain accurate records using a tablet on Ark's Information Management system.
- Provide personal care where required, in a respectful and dignified manner.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in roles such as Care Worker, Social Worker, Home Carer, Case Worker, Care Assistant, Autism Support Worker, Personal Care Assistant, or Social Care Worker is an advantage but not essential. Ark will provide full training.

We offer a good level of flexibility around shift patterns. Shifts run across seven days with early shifts starting from 7:00 am and late shifts finishing at 10:00 pm.
