Salary: Earn up to £26,526.23 per year pro rata
Full‑time position. The role requires a female candidate only as per the Equality Act 2010.
We offer a personalised support service to a small group of 9 people, including 3 in a House of Multiple Occupancy and 6 in individual homes. Tasks range from 24‑hour support to assistance with finances, shopping and social activities.
Transport: a bus stop outside the service and a train station 4 minutes away. Parking available on site.
Responsibilities
- Work with colleagues to support vulnerable people as part of an effective team.
- Communicate and work well with supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
- Support individuals throughout activities, providing positive feedback and encouragement.
- Update and maintain accurate records using a tablet on Ark's Information Management system.
Shift Details
Shift rota includes day, evening and sleepover shifts. A sleepover shift consists of a 3 p.m. to 3 p.m. shift with a rest period from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The rest period is paid as an additional £100.80 per sleepover.
Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience in any of the following role types is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided: Care Worker, Social Worker, Home Carer, Case Worker, Care Assistant, Autism Support Worker, Personal Care Assistant, Social Care Worker. Full UK Driver’s licence required for 2 of the positions.
