Ark is recruiting Full timesupport Workers at our Hoseasons service which is located in the Clermiston area of Edinburgh.
Hoseasons service supports 5 people in Clermiston. All our supported people live within the same street as our office meaning that there is always support from other team members nearby. We support people with a wide range of support needs including autism and physical disabilities. 3 of our supported people require 24 hour support with 2 requiring 2 to 1 care. The other 2 supported people require drop in support throughout the day including housing, social and medication support.
Please note that this role includes Sleepover* shifts.
*A sleepover shift consists of working during the day, a rest period sleeping over in the service between 11pm ā 7am and then working again the next day. Sleepover shift are typically 24 hours in length e.g.10am ā 10am or 3pm ā 3pm. The sleepover period is over and above your contracted hours and gets paid as an additional payment of Ā£96.00 per sleepover.

Your main duties will include but not be limited to:
- Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
- Communicate and work well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
- Being responsible in supporting individuals throughout the activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
- Updating and maintaining accurate records using a tablet on Arks Information Management system.
