We are expanding our Supported Living Services in Buckie and need compassionate, proactive, and reliable Support Practitioners to help young adults build confidence, develop life skills, and thrive independently. You will work with three new residents and support 15 existing individuals as part of our dedicated team.

Roles & Duties

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support vulnerable people.
  • Communicate and maintain appropriate relationships with supported people.
  • Provide support throughout activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
  • Update and maintain accurate records using a tablet on Ark’s Information Management system.

What is Relief?

As a Relief Support Practitioner, you will not have contracted hours. This offers flexibility, allowing you to pick up shifts that suit your availability. Relief work is offered on an as-and-when basis to cover sickness absence, study leave, and other staffing needs, and may vary in demand over time.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Care Worker, Social Worker, Home Carer, Case Worker, Care Assistant, Autism Support Worker, Personal Care Assistant, or Social Care Worker is an advantage but not essential, as Ark will provide full training.
