Part time and Full time roles available (37 hours per week for full time, 16 hours per week for part time).
The Galashiels service provides support to individuals within Galashiels and the surrounding towns with activities such as horse riding, golf, bowling, and tennis. This enables our supported people to live full lives and be involved in the different local communities around the Borders.

Your main duties will include:
- Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable service users.
- Communicating and working well with individuals to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
- Being responsible for supporting individuals throughout the activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
- Updating and maintaining accurate records using a tablet on Ark's Information Management system.
No previous experience required; Ark provides full training, making our Support Worker roles the perfect place to start your career in Adult Social Care.

Previous experience in roles such as Care Worker, Social Worker, Home Carer, Case Worker, Care Assistant, Autism Support Worker, Personal Care Assistant, or Social Care Worker is an advantage but not essential as Ark will provide full training.
