Arketa is building the operating system for modern fitness and wellness. Our mission is to make wellness more accessible by empowering studios and wellness entrepreneurs to grow beyond in-person classes. We provide a powerful, all-in-one platform to manage and scale hybrid wellness businesses—whether online, in-person, or both. With Arketa, users can easily manage schedules, accept bookings and payments, build on-demand video libraries, host retreats, and run marketing campaigns via text and email. We also offer fully branded apps and websites, so studios can deliver a seamless, professional experience across every customer touchpoint.
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective customers, using creative outreach methods to introduce them to Arketa and demonstrate how we can help their business thrive. You’ll focus on small and mid-sized wellness studios & entrepreneurs, driving outbound sales through phone calls, emails, social media messaging, and other innovative approaches. Your goal will be to build the initial connections with potential clients while managing your pipeline meticulously.

What You’ll Do
- Spend around 4 hours each day reaching out to wellness studios over the phone, building relationships, and sharing how Arketa can transform their business.
- Help AE’s get context on each potential customer and ensure that each customer has a delightful experience with Arketa from beginning to end.
What We’re Looking For
- Some cold-calling experience, ideally in SMB SaaS, selling to fitness studios, restaurants, or small businesses.
- Familiarity with Hubspot, Orum (or a parallel dialer), Instagram, Loom, Vidyard and lead sources.
- BA/BS degree preferred but not required.
- Fitness Enthusiast: Experience working in a fitness studio and understanding studio software.
- Sales Talent: Ready to dive into outbound efforts using phone, email, messaging, and creative outreach.
- Strong Communicator: Ability to connect with people and articulate ideas clearly.
- Grit & Determination: Persistence in overcoming challenges to drive results.
- Organized & Driven: Ability to manage multiple priorities and resourceful in problem-solving.

For this role, the estimated annual base salary is $40,000, depending on experience and qualifications, with $55k OTE. In addition to base pay, we offer equity and performance-based bonuses as part of our total compensation package.
