Directly reporting to the Global Head of M&A and part of the Board of Directors of arKap UK, the Country Head is responsible for developing and leading arKap & Co’s M&A advisory business in the UK, with a primary focus on Principal Investors, Private Equity funds and family offices.
The role combines senior client coverage, deal origination, and transaction execution, while contributing to the expansion of the Group’s pan-European M&A platform. The Country Head operates as a front‑line originator and senior advisor, not as an internal manager.
Key Responsibilities- Client Coverage & Origination
- Develop and maintain senior‑level relationships with:
- Private Equity funds
- Infrastructure and principal investors
- Family offices and long‑term capital providers
- Originate M&A mandates, including:
- Buy‑side and sell‑side advisory
- Minority investments and strategic transactions
- Structuring transactions
- Coordinating internal and external advisors
- Managing negotiations with counterparties
- Strengthen arKap & Co’s brand and positioning in the local M&A and PE ecosystem.
- Represent the firm at relevant industry events and investor forums.
- Support the development of strategic relationships with local intermediaries and co‑investors.
- Report directly to the Global Head of M&A.
- Contribute to business planning, pipeline forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Operate within Group governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
