Who We Are

Arka Design Studio is an ambitious, multi-disciplinary practice based in Glasgow, known for its design driven, creative work and friendly, supportive culture. We are looking for a skilled and motivated ARB registered Architect to join our close-knit team and play a key role in delivering a wide variety of exciting projects.

Our Current Work Includes:

• Leisure and hospitality, specialising in sports-related venues
• Bespoke high end homes
• Private and Social Housing
• Community based projects

What You’ll Do:

• Contribute to the design and delivery of high quality architecture across all RIBA stages
• Prepare and coordinate planning, tender, and construction drawing packages
• Lead projects confidently, managing the process and guiding clients with clear communication
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, consultants, and clients throughout each project
• Apply careful attention to detail during design and technical phases

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience across all RIBA Work Stages
• Strong design sensibility and visual communication skills
• Proficiency in technical drawing and detailing
• Solid knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities
• Software proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with 3D modelling software (desirable but not essential)
